TruTwo closing, new company rising out of it - December 5, 2008
I have some interesting new information for anyone that may be reading this. Firstly, TruTwo software will be closing its short-lived doors. Secondly, there will be a new company called Neon Apps (neonapps.com) that will pick up the development of ScreenShade 2, among other applications.

There is no real reason for this other then I'm not too happy with TruTwo as an entity and the opportunity to start from scratch with just about everything (including ScreenShade) was too attractive to pass up. The new company will be launching with 3+ applications, and will be run by me (Joel Levin).

For those who donated to ScreenShade, I really appreciate the support. When ScreenShade 2.0 comes out, you will all receive a free license regardless of the amount of money donated. If you donated more than $5 and feel like you would like more then just a ScreenShade 2 license (such as a license for a different Neon Apps application or something), shoot me an email at we can discuss it. I am very open to the discussion.
